Board of Directors

As of November 19, 2021, SMPS Pacific Regional Conference was incorporated to enhance the member experience of “One SMPS”; promote inclusion by offering opportunities for regional chapter participation; establish sustainability with continuity and added structure with volunteers; and provide a safeguard for our volunteers and the SMPS organization with added legal and liability protection.

The role of the Board of Directors is to ensure the legal and ethical integrity of the conference, provide financial operations oversight, approve host city and facilities, select and work with the planning committee general chairs, as well as provide program and planning oversight. The Board of Directors shall adhere to the duties of care, loyalty, and compliance; serve as active advocates and ambassadors for the conference; and assist with leveraging connections, networks, and resources to develop collective action to fully achieve the mission.
