WHAT IS PRC? 

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Pacific Regional Conference (PRC) is an annual regional event hosted by 12 SMPS chapters: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Inland Empire, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County, Oregon, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle. PRC presents a unique opportunity to connect with over 500 marketers and business professionals in the A/E/C industry from across the Pacific Region. 

Each year, attendees are offered a variety of opportunities--from breakout session lectures, to workshops, keynote speakers, and special events-- to learn best practices in A/E/C marketing and business development from some of the most experienced professionals nationwide. Moreover, the unique atmosphere at the PRC conference provides community-building and opportunities to build deeper business connections with colleagues in the Pacific Region.

The mission of the SMPS regional conferences is to advocate for, educate, and connect leaders in the building industry by providing an elevated professional experience in an intimate environment, and is organized regionally to support geographical networks and culture.

The SMPS Pacific Regional Conference was created to provide increased value to SMPS members through an annual elite experience in an environment for professional development and networking in the Pacific geographic market. The Wave is organized so that each participating chapter has an equal opportunity to “host” the conference through a fair rotation process and collaborate with other chapters to plan the conference.

About the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS)

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is a diverse community of marketing and business development professionals working together to move the A/E/C industry forward. In 1973, a small group of ambitious professional services firm leaders recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources, and work together to build their business. And SMPS was born.

Today, SMPS represents a dynamic network of more than 7,000 marketing and business development professionals in the A/E/C industry located throughout the United States and Canada.
