General Info

What is the SMPS PRC agenda?

SMPS PRC is the premier conference for AEC professional service marketers and business professionals from across the Pacific Region to develop community and business opportunities. This high impact event includes two days of general sessions, a multitude of breakout learning opportunities, and a variety of networking events including a welcome reception on Wednesday afternoon.

The full conference schedule will be available when registration opens in Fall 2025.

What is included in my registration? 

Conference registration includes all general sessions, all breakout learning sessions, the Wednesday welcome reception, and breakfast and lunch on Thursday and Friday.

Conference registration does not include access to Pre-Conference Workshops and Special Event (information to come later) which can be purchased separately.

Registration

When will registration open?

Registration for the 2026 conference is open. Please see the event page for the registration link.

How do I sign-in/register? 

To register for any PRC event, follow these steps:

  1. When prompted to log in, click the "Forgot Username/password" link.
  2. Enter your email address and click Submit.
  3. You'll receive an email with instructions to set your PRC-specific password.  

To Log in as a Member: 

  • Your SMPS PRC password is separate from your chapter or headquarters password.
  • Your email must match the one on file with SMPS Headquarters.
  • You must be a current member of one of the 12 participating PRC chapters: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Inland Empire, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County, Oregon, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle.
  • Your membership must be in good standing (not expired).

Having trouble logging in as a member?

Membership data is pulled from SMPS Headquarters at regular intervals. If you recently became a member or changed companies, or your membership has lapsed or expired, please contact SMPS Headquarters at [email protected]  to correct your membership information. Please allow 2 weeks for your amended membership to be downloaded into the PRC database. 

Will there be early bird rates for registration in 2026?

Are there group discount rates available?

PRC 2026 does not have early bird rates available.

Group discount rates are not available for the 2026 conference.

Is registration limited?

Attendance for the 2026 conference will be capped at 480 attendees. We encourage you to plan ahead and register early to secure your spot.

When is the last day to register?

Registration for 2026 opens on September 18, 2025. The last day to register will be March 2, 2026, unless the conference sells out sooner.

Cancellation and transfer Policy

What is the cancellation policy?

Requests for cancellation must be made in writing and sent via email to: Registration Committee. If cancellation is requested in writing at least 30 days prior to the event, the registration fee will be refunded minus a 5% administrative processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event. Unused registrations cannot be applied to future conferences.

A substitute attendee at the same membership level may attend at no extra charge if notification is provided at least 14 days prior to the event. Each registration may only be transferred once, and once transferred, the registration fee is no longer eligible for a refund.

Registering for an SMPS event constitutes an agreement between you and SMPS. Upon registering, you agree to pay all fees online via credit card at the time of registration, adhere to this cancellation and other registration policies, and adhere to the SMPS Code of Ethics during the meeting. Regardless of paying your fees, this cancellation policy applies. Furthermore, you are ultimately responsible for your fees even if another party (such as your employer) has expressed its intent to pay them on your behalf. Additionally, SMPS cannot be held liable for travel disruptions, changing business needs, or personal situations that may affect your participation.

What is the substitution/transfer policy?

  • If a member wants to transfer to a non-member, that registrant will be billed for the difference. 
  • If a non-member transfers to a member, no refund will be issued.

A registration may only be transferred once. 

Transfer or cancellation of the hotel must be made directly with the hotel.

Waitlist

Recent PRC conferences have seen record attendance and sold out quickly. To secure your spot, we strongly recommend registering early. Once capacity is reached, a waitlist will be automatically created in the order received. Please note we are unable to provide individual waitlist positions.

I'm on the Waitlist, what happens next?

If a registered attendee cannot attend and does not have a replacement, they may contact the registration committee ([email protected]) to request contact information of the next person on the waitlist. It is the original attendee's responsibility to coordinate directly with the replacement regarding reimbursement. When an agreement is reached between the two parties (including the transfer of money), the original attendee will confirm that the PRC registration committee may update their reservation to the new person. PRC will not refund the original attendee.   

Safety

What Safety measures are in place?

Safety is a priority. We will monitor health information including the Center for Disease Control (CDC), King County, and City of Seattle guidelines related to COVID-19 or other health restrictions. We are working with the Hyatt Regency to create an amazing in-person experience in a healthy and safe environment. 

  • No mask mandates or proof of vaccination are currently in place.
  • If you have cold or flu-like symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, please stay home and get well.

When is the conference schedule available for the upcoming SMPS PRC?

Is there a list of breakout session speakers?

The conference schedule is typically available when registration opens. It can be accessed from the homepage drop-down menu. 

A listing of breakout sessions including information about speakers is typically available when registration opens. 

Hotel

Do we have special hotel pricing for the conference?

Yes, we have special conference hotel rates. The hotel information will be listed on the homepage drop-down menu when it becomes available. Typically, this is 30-60 days before registration opens.

INdividual prc events

I can’t attend the full conference, are there day rates or individual events I can attend?

We do not have day rates. However, you can register to attend the Wednesday Pre-Conference Workshops, the Wednesday Opening Keynote and Reception, and the Thursday Night Social.

Accessibility

What is PRC's accessibility commitment?

SMPS PRC welcomes the participation of individuals with disabilities and will make every effort to provide reasonable accommodations to enable equitable participation at PRC. Dining/Dietary Restrictions

I have a food allergy, where can I find the ingredients of all the food that will be offered at the conference?

Attendees can designate dietary restrictions/food allergies during the registration process. The planning committee will make every effort to provide reasonable accommodations. In addition, ingredients will be posted on site during meals.

Continuing education units (CEUs)

How many CEU credits do I receive for attending PRC?

Once PRC keynote speakers, sessions, and workshops are selected, you can calculate your CEUs by reviewing the conference schedule. Historically, full conference attendance has provided 10 CEUs! Pre-Conference Workshops typically offer an additional 2-4 CEUs.

Please note: CEU reporting is the responsibility of each CPSM member.
