What is the Pacific Regional CPSM Study Group?
The SMPS Pacific Regional Chapters have partnered to offer a comprehensive Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) study program—open to all SMPS members.*
With two cohorts offered each year in advance of the March and September testing windows, the program is designed to help participants prepare with structure, accountability, and peer support.
Over four to five months leading up to each exam, participants connect with fellow marketers and experienced facilitators from across the country. The program includes six interactive virtual sessions—each focused on one CPSM domain—where facilitators share key concepts from the Markendium, sample test questions, and practical insights. Two cram study sessions follow the domain review sessions. More than a study group, this program creates space for meaningful professional dialogue and shared learning.
Each cohort receives access to a dedicated online learning portal featuring:

- Curated study resources
- Opportunities to win Markendium books and CPSM exam fee reimbursements

Taking the Exam
The examination is administered by the Professional Testing Corporation (PTC), an independent third-party and global leader in testing and assessment services. You must first submit an application and upload your college transcripts (if applicable). Your application will be reviewed, and eligible candidates will receive a scheduling authorization from PTC within two weeks.
