He helps clients to remove biases, fear, and judgement, while simultaneously igniting their intuition to produce monumental results! Author and food, wine, and travel blogger Marlynn Jayme Schotland will travel almost anywhere at a moment’s notice, will eat/try almost anything once, and embodies the LIVE LOUDLY philosophy every day. A first-generation Filipino-American, she enjoys sharing her passion for home cooking with fresh, simple ingredients, and share family favorite recipes and recipes inspired by her travels. She travels as often as possible around the world with her husband and their two children. Passionate about the wine industry, Marlynn also holds a WSET 2 Award with Distinction wine certification. Currently she is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and the International Food, Wine, Travel Writers Association. Before launching Urban Bliss Life, Marlynn worked as a communications executive, including work as a public relations director. Her career started as a broadcast journalist after earning her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications: Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Currently, Marlynn lives and works in the Portland, Oregon area with her husband, two children, and their lovable Lab Retriever.

Ryn (Kathryn) Bennett, MPH, is a non-binary 40 under 40 award winner, world-record-holding strongman competitor, celebrated TEDx and Ignite speaker, and advocate for developing mental toughness. They are the author of Productive Pain, a personal memoir and inspirational guide. With a background in social and behavioral health and process improvement, Ryn's professional career spans industries including tech, healthcare, and engineering/construction. Ryn used the mental fortitude and tenacity they learned in the gym to advance their career and overcome burnout, working from an entry-level process improvement role into a director position. Ryn is a Certified Professional Services Marketer and is nationally ranked as a strongman competitor. They are passionate about helping others develop the mental tenacity and internal strength they need to succeed, no matter the adversity they're facing.

Paula Stamp, PhD, MBA, FSMPS, CPSM
Dr. Paula Stamp is vice president, economic development for CLAYCO. In her role with CLAYCO, Paula is responsible for strategic positioning of the firm across multiple business units including Institutional, Industrial, and Aviation; qualifying and securing new business opportunities; market research; strategic planning; and program validation and post-occupancy research. She works closely with both the construction and architecture entities within the integrated services model of CLAYCO.
Paula has more than 20 years’ experience in the AEC industry and carries the designation of Certified Professional Services Marketer conferred by the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and is a Fellow of SMPS. She is President-Elect on the Society SMPS Board, governing board for the international organization. Paula is past president of SMPS/LA, Southern California Development Forum, and YWCA Pasadena-Foothill Valley. She is also the recipient of the SMPS/LA Leonardo Award which honors excellence and mentorship within the marketing field. She currently sits on the boards of the YWCA Glendale Pasadena and the non-profit developer A Community of Friends (ACOF). ACOF’s mission is to end homelessness through the provision of quality permanent supportive housing for people with mental illness. Paula’s work on the board focuses on strategic planning, resource development, and financial auditing of the organization. As a developer that owns and manages over 40 properties across Southern California, Paula’s contribution to the ACOF board is one that positively impacts our communities and furthers the solutions around homelessness.
Kenda Salisbury, FSMPS, CPSM
Kenda Salisbury, FSMPS, CPSM, leads Degenkolb Engineers’ strategic growth efforts across the Pacific Northwest region. With over 20 years of experience in the A/E/C industries, Kenda specializes in developing and managing client development strategies. She has successfully mentored and worked closely with technical professionals to help them strengthen their client relationships and build business.
Kenda was named an SMPS Fellow in 2019 and has been a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) for over 20 years. She’s an active member of SMPS and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Kenda is also a founding member of Building Women, an organization focused on the education and growth of women in the healthcare design and construction industries. She serves on the Standing Advisory Committee for Harborview Medical Center, acting as a community advocate for the hospital’s design and construction projects.
